Christmas at the Peninsula

Being away from home takes the Christmas spirit away. But being at the Peninsula hotel really puts you in the Christmas feel; with the white centered lights, gingerbread house and holiday music. Yes, Christmas is in the air! A step outside brings you into the crisp, chill air. Looking up you see the big and glowing moon (moon's day). Even from a far it still manages to take over the sky wherever you stand.

Fall Leaves

It's Thanksgiving and it's great to be home. Nothing beats a fall afternoon stroll with my mei mei. Orange, green and yellow makes the day brighter. Exploring the neighborhood corner and appreciating the calm surrounding. It definitely feels like the beginning of Fall.

Moon Festival

Another moon festival. Time for festivities, PRC style. My friend Daniel visiting me from New York, crab shopping outside the city. The experience all togetherr has been unique, but I can't justify spending 1 hour to take apart one tiny crab. The battle is just not worth it.

Here There Everywhere: Day 2

Another full day. Just like the city, time goes by as fast as the car next to you on the freeway. Making sure Lisa gets all her items on her list checked, we taxi all around Shanghai and out of Shanghai. It was nice getting away from the city and exploring new untouched territory.
