Pink Pastels

Its been years since I revisited my old home in Downtown Los Angeles. Nothing beats a nice day back in a place you love with good company and good food. Finishing off the trip with some pastel treats. My heart misses Los Angeles and everything it has to offer.

Changing my Heart

Every month the city of San Francisco will take this heart and place a new image from a local artist. A pleasant surprise to see in the mornings.

Avocado Fields

Recently there has been a lot of mention around this so called restaurant in Napa called Ad Hoc. Trying not to fall into the trap, I had to visit the experience. So far, nothing falls short behind the mentions. Great escape from the San Francisco fog to the sunshine in Napa.
Avocado, tomato, peach and bacon salad with citrus dressing. I could eat this day and night on a hot summer's day.
Lobster Roll

Homemade Churros with Caramel and Chocolate sauce....

Ended the day with a final stop at Dean & Deluca. Wish I had one across the street from my house.

Scattered Stars

Exploration Weekend 3: Napa seems to be the theme of the summer. One of my Shanghai best friends visited me from Asia, had to take her to see some sun, drink some wine and eat some artistic food. Something Shanghai is definitely lacking in.

Sonoma Red

Exploration Weekend 2: the theme of today was red. Red wine and red doors. Red wine pairing with a bowl of seafood and some pork belly egg sandwich. What more can you ask for...

yellows, green & blue

Exploration Weekend 1: roaming towards Sausalito into the unknown greens, while freezing in the mist of overshadowing fog. Moving from green to blue as we make a stop in downtown Sausalito to a restaurant called Scoma's. Enjoying some fresh seafood by the water. Ready to head back to the City.

SF Turn

This is long overdue, but as you may know I made the move to the next big city, LA --> SH --> SF This maybe the first "real city" I ever lived in. Streets are full with people, buildings, art and garbage. This is definitely a new change. Still testing it out, but you never know what you will find in a city like SF. I am still exploring...
