CNY in Shanghai

Chinese New Year in Shanghai is bare, quiet and grey. We started out with a traditional Chinese New Year dinner however, there were hardly any restaurants opened. We had to walk miles just to find one decent place available. Finding a cab is another story, good luck roaming the bare streets for the non-existent cab. Walking through the streets of the city was like walking through a war zone. People blasting fireworks from left to right, I had to take cover and find an escape. After finding shelter in a high up place, I took one look outside the window and realized Shanghai is indeed a city with personality.
